Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information HD Press collects when you use hdpresspuzzles.com, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We keep this short and only collect what we need.
What we collect
- Account details: if you create an account, we store your email address and a securely managed password (handled by our authentication provider, Supabase).
- Usage analytics: aggregate, non-identifying stats like page views and how often book links are clicked, so we can see what’s popular.
- In your browser: we store your light/dark theme preference and your login session in your browser’s local storage.
We do not sell your data, and we don’t collect payment information — book purchases happen on Amazon.
How we use it
- to give you access to your account and the puzzle archive;
- to send essential account emails (sign-up confirmation, password reset);
- to understand what content people enjoy and improve the Site.
Service providers
We rely on a few trusted services to run the Site:
- Supabase — accounts and authentication;
- Netlify — website hosting and basic analytics;
- Resend — sending account emails;
- Amazon — where book purchases take place, under Amazon’s own privacy policy.
Cookies & local storage
We use minimal browser storage for your theme choice and login session. We don’t use advertising or tracking cookies. If we add optional analytics like Google Analytics in future, we’ll update this policy.
Your rights
You can ask us to access or delete your account data at any time — just email us. Under the Australian Privacy Principles (Privacy Act 1988), you can request access to, or correction of, the personal information we hold about you.
Children
The Site isn’t directed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their data.
Changes
We may update this policy occasionally; we’ll change the date above when we do.
